SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PROFILE:

I have had a long and fruitful relationship with the Publishing and Electronic Media Industries, having gained considerable experience of employment in all aspects of the graphic and interactive arts.  My abilities and interests span a wide range of techniques and styles in 2 and 3 dimensional image production; fascinated equally by the latest rendering and animation technologies and by the purity of pigment and pencil as a creative experience.
A qualified teacher, I have taught both young children and adults in schools, Further Education establishments and within the context of the workplace.
As a commissioned artist I have worked with many companies as an illustrator, designer and computer artist.  These include:  Sega, Sony, Burmatex Textiles, Headingly Cricket Club, The NHS, York Railway Museum, Hutchison, Oxford University Press, GSM Partnership - Architects, WholeCaboodle, SilentNight and many more.  Having held senior positions in management as well as a creative roles, I have also been responsible for tutoring junior employees in graphic realisation, new technologies and software solutions.

Above all, I am a traditional exhibiting artist with a lively interest in all things cultural and scientific.
